In addition to its degree programs, the Stockholm School of Economics offers a range of complementary educational opportunities. These programs are designed to broaden access to SSE, support different learning paths, and provide preparation for further studies.
The Swedish Program
The Swedish Program is an independent program, sponsored by a consortium of American colleges and universities, and affiliated with the Stockholm School of Economics.
The Short Program
Innovation is today happening in centers of excellence around the world faster than ever before. Nevertheless, not all countries are capable of innovating.
Complementing the core programs
SSE’s other educational offerings include programs that complement the School’s core degree programs and provide alternative entry points to academic study. They are designed for students with different backgrounds and ambitions, and offer opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and familiarity with the SSE learning environment.
The Swedish Program is aimed at students who want to strengthen their academic preparation and develop the skills needed for higher education in Sweden. It provides a foundation in subjects relevant to business and economics, while also supporting students in adapting to academic studies.
The Short Program offers a more focused and flexible format, allowing participants to engage with specific topics over a shorter period of time. It is designed to provide an introduction to key concepts and ways of thinking within SSE’s academic environment.
Together, these programs expand access to SSE and create additional pathways for students to engage with business education, whether as preparation for further studies or as a standalone learning experience.
